Enter the Blue Dragon
Like a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick to the face, Ignition Entertainment's epic game trailers for Blue Dragon command attention. Betawave partnered with Ignition to create a serial novel effect by releasing each of their five trailers across four properties before the game release.
Each trailer was featured as high value content; embedded within functional areas of our properties. Showcasing these trailers in theater environments and among relevant gaming areas gave the video extra weight; giving the game release the feel of a summer movie blockbuster.
As a movie is valued by ticket sales, game trailers are valued by video streams. Betawave delivered over 5,000,000 trailer streams during the flight, plus a coordinated five-site homepage takeover on the release date.
The tagline for Blue Dragon is "Awaken the Power Within"; Betwave awakened the purchasing power within our properties to deliver a successful launch campaign for Ignition Entertainment.
